OOTD

Ciao ♥ How are you? Gosh, it feels like I haven't blogged in ages. What have you guys been up to? In the early hours of yesterday morning I arrived back in London from a one-week holiday in Marmaris, Turkey. I had a great time and will be sharing this with you over the next few days. Make sure you keep an eye out for this as I will be sharing everything from my travels to a holiday lookbook :)

Okay but for now let me share with you an outfit I wore quite recently. So a little while ago I ordered this amazing oversized tee from Urban Outfitters. It's from a brand called Terrible Movement who stocks some great and unique pieces for fairly reasonable prices. This particular t-shirt has Beverly Kills scribbled on the front of it and has these amazing oversized arm slits that really help to add a bit of character to an outfit. I feel that it definitely compliments the grungy and rockstar look that I've been rocking recently. What do you guys think?

Mules

Mules! Mules! Mules! Some of you might remember how massive of a trend these shoes were back in the 90s. Well fast forward to present day and it looks as if they've made a muleassive comeback. See what I did there? Mule. Massive. Mule(m)assive. Get it? LOL nope! Okay okay, I know when to stop lol :( For those who are not yet familiar with them, mules are a backless shoe that is often open-toed. They come in a variety of different heel heights so can easily be worn during the day or at night, dressed up or dressed down. Although I don't consider them to be the most flattering shoe they're unbelievably comfortable and are extremely easy to style.

Below are a selection of four different outfits all of which incorporate a pair of mules that are available on the high-street. Hopefully this will provide you ladies with some sort of inspiration on what to wear them with and also help generate further outfit ideas. I've also filmed an OOTD for my YouTube channel showing how I styled my pair of mules which happen to be those featured in the second outfit idea. What are you thoughts on mules? Are you a fan of them or are you quite happy to say that you wouldn't be seen dead in them? Lol :P X

OOTD & YouTube Video | 60s Vibe

Ciao ♥ How are you? I hope you've had a lovely weekend and made the most of the sunshine today, even though I didn't as I was stuck indoors tidying up my room. Oh but don't worry I actually love cleaning and tidying up. I guess you could say I'm a bit like Monica from friends, but with better dress sense. Lol! :P

Before I start talking about my outfit I would like to apologise for my recent lack of blogging as I've been quite busy as of late. However, from tomorrow onwards I am aiming to get back to my normal blogging self and will hopefully publish a lot more posts that you lovely readers can feast your eyes on. I would also like to take this time to thank all of you lovely people who take the time to read my blog and comment on my posts. It really does mean the world to me and I really appreciate the time you take in doing so

Okay so I'm back with another OOTD post and a fairly short but sweet YouTube video to compliment this. Let's get started! For those who don't know I love the sense of fashion that existed in the 1960s and sometimes use it as a source of inspiration for my everyday outfits. During this era, particularly the mid-60s, women were known for wearing short skirts and dresses that were fairly tight fitted. This charcoal, ribbed mini dress is exactly that and it's from my favourite store (EVER), Zara. No surprise there right? To help add that extra 60s vibe I had going on, I paired my outfit with my floppy hat. These were extremely popular in the late 60s and often symbolised the bohemian hippy culture. I purchased my one from New Look about three years ago although I've only worn it a handful of times. I definitely need to make more use of it.

What do you guys think about my outfit? Oh and what is your favourite era? X
